About You

Hey, friend. Seeking support for your deconstruction journey can feel like a big brave step. You might be full of questions- the first one being, is this the right fit? No worries. I created a short quiz to help you decide. Below are 4 True or False statements. If you can relate to some or all, then I think I can help and we'll probably connect well.
Spoiler alert: If you're a Millennial or Gen Xer who's in the midst of religious deconstruction, questioning their identity, and starting life over after 30- then I really can't wait to meet you. Book a free consult when you're ready.
All sessions are trauma informed, LGBTQIA+ and ND affirming.

True or
False?
01
You grew up in the 70s, 80s, or 90s. You were possibly a bright and quirky kid whose childhood was shaped by Purity culture, the AIDS epidemic, church camp "cry nights," the WWJD movement, and a home life that was sunny on the outside and stormy on the inside.
As a kid, you quickly learned to follow all the rules in order to earn safety, belonging, or approval. As an adult, you might be questioning your beliefs, deconstructing, or have weeded out religion.
03
You feel stressed, burned out, and struggle to put words to your needs, emotions & desires. After a lifetime of masking or stuffing down, you need space where you can show up as your whole self and rediscover who you are.
You may be carrying big existential questions about your identity, purpose, belief system, career, relationship, meaning of life, etc. You may also wonder if you're autistic, ADHD, or LGBTQIA+. You'll ask Google again tonight- around 2am.
02
As an adult, your goal in life has been to please others. You wear many hats, put yourself last, and the list of do's and don'ts seems endless. You struggle with a loud mind, a harsh inner critic, and feel like you're just not (good) enough. The void of not enoughness is deep and you may have tried many things to fill it.
You know exactly what everyone else needs or wants, but deep down, you have no idea what YOU need or want. Your greatest desire is to be loved and accepted.
04
You might also be coping with anger, grief, loss, trauma, mid-life transitions and uprootings while possibly questioning your identity and outgrowing your beliefs.
You've been in and out of therapy and are still searching for a like-minded soul who gets it. Someone who can talk about the G*d stuff, the queer stuff, the autism stuff, and the midlife life stuff- without fixing, flinching, judging, preaching, or dismissing. You may or may not have seen a Spiritual Director before (most new clients haven't).
